Built for Duramax Up-Pipes

Designed specifically for 2001 and newer Duramax diesel engines, these up-pipe blankets help contain exhaust heat while reducing radiant temperatures throughout the engine compartment. Their vehicle-specific design provides excellent fitment while helping protect nearby wiring, hoses, and other heat-sensitive components.

Note: Installation requires removal of the downpipe and/or up-pipes unless the transmission has already been removed.

Construction

Turbo Performance Products up-pipe blankets are built in the USA using a durable three-layer construction. A ½-inch silica insulation core is sandwiched between silica cloth outer layers for long-lasting thermal performance.

Installation Note: Because of the location of the factory up-pipes, installation typically requires removal of the downpipe and/or up-pipes unless the transmission is already out.

Available Colors

These blankets are supplied in Natural/Tan as the standard color. The lighter material makes soot leaks easier to identify during inspection and has proven to provide excellent long-term durability.
